You’ve probably noticed that in some of my recent blog posts, I’ve been wearing a dress or a skirt, and it’s mainly because I personally love wearing them both during the summer.  I love the easy, breezy fabrics of summer dresses and skirts, and lately it seems like my personal style of dresses and skirts, the midi or the maxi, are really on trend and easy to find.  To me, dresses are an ideal wardrobe staple, and they can be found in designs that will never go out of style.

If you find yourself standing in the middle of your closet everyday or every season, trying to figure out just what you need to add to your closet to make getting dressed more fun and efficient, well, adding more dresses to your wardrobe might be the answer for you.  A dress is one piece that I think can adapt to any style or lifestyle, and they can easily transition from day to night or desk to dinner.  If you’re trying to figure out your personal style, or what item or items might be more suitable for your style, in today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing four signs you need to invest in more dresses.

Style Guide:  4 Signs You Need To Invest In More Dresses

Do You Enjoy The Easy Styling Of One Piece Of Clothing – If you like the easy styling of simply adding accessories to your look, then a dress is the perfect piece for you.  Simply add shoes, a bag, and jewelry if you like, and your outfit is complete.

Do You Like Pieces That Look Great Regardless Of Your Body Type – If you want to have pieces in your closet that are low maintenance, and work regardless of your body type, a dress is a good choice.  Dresses easily conform to any figure.

Do You Like To Get Dressed Quickly And Go – If you prefer spending more time doing other things than planning an outfit or look, then dresses are definitely for you.  They are one piece that you can easily put on and go, and look great.

Do You Like Pieces That Can Be Found In A Variety Of Styles – If you are not committed to a particular style, and you like to mix it up from time to time, then dresses will certainly work for you.  You can easily find dresses in a variety of styles that are perfect for work, casual weekend looks, evening attire and beyond.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and I hope you were able to determine if adding more dresses to your closet would be helpful for you.  For this look, I wore my Flutter Sleeve Midi Dress (also, available in white), Also, love this one here and here.  I accessorized with my Lace Up Espadrille Wedges, my Cream Net Bag, and my Cream Oval Sunglasses (now on sale).  You can shop the specific items I’m wearing or similar items that I love, by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details,” by clicking the photos below in “Shop This Post,” and by visiting the “Shop Fashion” page here.
