Do you ever feel like there just aren’t enough hours in the day, or do you often ask yourself throughout the day, where did the day go?   They say as you get older, the days seem to go by faster, but when your daily to do list just doesn’t seem to go anywhere, and you can’t seem to win the day, but the days seems to beat you, then it may be time to make a few changes.

When I first started my blog, it seems like I could never get all of the things I wanted to get done in a day.  Mainly because I was learning and working on so many things at once, which is kind of like the many daily work and lifestyle tasks we all juggle on a daily basis.  Once I got my footing with my blog, established my daily to do’s, and at least had a better idea of what I wanted to accomplish each day, because I am somewhat of a regimented person, I wanted to come up with a few daily steps to make sure I ended my day, at least feeling like I had made the most of it.  So, I did some research, and I have now figured out a few daily steps that work for me, and in today’s “Lifestyle Guide,” I’m sharing five steps to making the most of your day everyday.

Lifestyle Guide:  5 Steps To Making The Most Of Your Day Everyday

Rise With A Plan – I like to plan out my day the night before, so I rise with a plan for the day.  As a blogger, I use both a daily planner and an editorial calendar to guide my day,  I really like this daily planner here.

Exercise – Recent Studies show that people who exercise regularly are more calm and prepared to handle whatever the day throws their way. My go to fitness app for working out is this one here.

Accomplish One Big Task – If your day is filled with many tasks, pick one big task to focus on first.  Completing one big task will definitely help you to feel more accomplished.

Do One Thing You Love – This is easy for me, because I love working on my blog, but pick one thing that you enjoy, and mix it in during your day.  Doing this will be somewhat of a break from being so task oriented, and can also be a reward for staying on task during your day.

Rest & Reset – Getting adequate rest is definitely key to being able to function at your best.  Try to get the recommended seven to eight hours of sleep a night, so you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and I hope these tips will help you make the most of your day.  For this look, I paired my White Sleeveless Ruffle Top (old), similar here, here, and here, with my White Cotton Midi Skirt (limited sizes left), also love this one here and here.  I accessorized with my Bow Top Slides, my Straw Bucket Bag (sold out), also love this one here, here, and here, and my black Large Buckle Belt (old), similar here.  You can shop the specific items I’m wearing or similar items that I love, by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details,” by clicking the photos below in “Shop This Post,” and by visiting the “Shop Fashion” page here.
