White on white clothing is a very popular trend, and I love it so much because it’s always a crisp and chic look regardless of where it’s worn.  Although all white looks are often seen as a classic summer trend, these fresh outfits are being worn far beyond spring and summer.  We’ve all heard the old style rule that says, don’t wear white before Memorial Day, and never after Labor Day, well this rule has certainly been ignored and somewhat denounced for many years by fashion trendsetters.  With Labor Day fast approaching, I suggest instead of preparing to pack away your wonderful whites, you start pairing and planning your post labor day white looks.

For this day, I went all out in white from top to bottom.  I paired this Loft white off the shoulder tee, with my Black House White market white Saint Honore Slim Ankle Jeans.  I added my white ASOS Ankle Strap Pointed Toe Pumps, and my Michael Kors Sutton Saffiano Satchel to finish off my white out look.  I wanted to add a touch of color in my jewelry, so I went with my turquoise necklace and earrings from Charming Charlie.

Now, the all white trend may seem a little tricky to pull off for some, but in today’s “Style Guide”, I’m sharing a few ways you can wear the all white trend with ease.

Mix Textures – To make sure your all white look does not fall flat, try mixing textures like denim with a lace, crochet or a lightweight cotton top for a more interesting look and feel.

Add Interesting Accessories – Add some glam to your look, by adding some bright accessories or accessories with patterns and even go for bags with interesting designs.

Go For Proper Proportions – To amp up the style of your all white look, keep the look in proportion.  If you are wearing a loose or unfitted top, add a more fitted and structured bottom.  Having the proper silhouette and balance is key to highlighting the chic feel of the outfit.

Make It Easy With Matching Pieces – If pulling together an all white look with a variety of pieces is just not your thing, take the easy route, and invest in matching pieces like a blazer and pants, or a tailored jacket and skirt.  Taking this approach ensures you feel comfortable with your all white outfit, with a pulled together feel.
