When it comes to makeup, my motto used to be “If it’s not broken don’t fix it”, but over the years, I’ve come to realize that it’s sometimes necessary to shake things up, and try new and different products to revive your makeup looks. So, for today’s “Beauty Week” post, I’m sharing five makeup essentials to freshen your look. Now, sometimes it’s good to change up a few items in your makeup arsenal for different seasons, and sometimes, it’s necessary to try new and different products that may work better than what you have been using.
Regardless of the amount of makeup you wear, or how often you actually wear it, when it comes to makeup essentials, there are a few products that should be a part of your makeup routine. A good primer, a versatile eye shadow palette, an illuminating highlighter, the perfect contour kit, and a great concealer. I personally consider all of these items make up essential for me, because they compliment my look on a very light makeup day, or when I am fully made up for photos or an event.
The five make up essentials I’m sharing today are my current go-to items, that to me work extremely well. Here are a few details about these 5 makeup essentials, along with how they can help to freshen your look.
Makeup Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer – My favorite primer! This primer helps to balance the skin’s texture and tone for smoother, more even makeup application, and longer-lasting makeup wear. The makeup you featured is perfect, and so what I need (concealer, highlighter, and a good eyeshadow palette). The Tart eyeshadow palette has beautiful colors, and I can mix them for a neutral eye or a darker eye. Can’t wait to see your YouTube channel!!!!!
