Next week, a new season will be ushered in, and we will all welcome spring, and what we hope will be warmer temperatures, with open arms. With every season, new fashion and color trends appear on runways and in fashion magazines, signaling to us all what styles and colors will be popular for the coming season. It appears that one of the season-perfect colors for spring and summer 2018 will be softer and more feminine shades of pink. For a season long known for the advent of florals and pastels, pink is the perfect cool tone to compliment the fresh feeling that accompanies the season.
Pink has always been a color that I’ve loved for spring and beyond, and it’s definitely a hue that I will probably add even more of to my wardrobe this season. If you’re a fan of florals, you can find many floral pieces in pink, if you like stripes, pink striped items can easily be found, and if you like more edgy styles, you can even find pink pieces in this style as well. In addition to pink being a popular color trend for spring, in today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing a few more reasons to think pink this spring season.
Style Guide: A Few Reasons To Think Pink This Season
Pink Is Soft And Feminine – If your style is more feminine, pink is the perfect color to compliment your style. You can find ruffled and lace pieces in soft shades of pink to create the perfect feminine looks.
Pink Exudes Feminine Confidence – If you’re looking to make a statement with your style, pink suiting for a work wear look is a great way to add a little power to a delicate hue.
Pink Is The Perfect Shade For Minimal Styles – Simple dresses and pink pieces with straight, clean lines are ideal for classic minimalist looks.
Pink Can Be Easily Paired With Other Colors – You can pair pink with other pastels for soft looks, or pair pink with brighter colors like red and orange for bold outfits.
I hope today’s post has given you a little insight into one of the color trends for spring, and provided a few reasons and ways to incorporate this color trend into your style and looks. For this look that I wore to an event recently, I paired my Crisscross Off Shoulder Top, with my Belted Pink Trousers, (also, love these here and here), and added my animal print coat (old, similar here and here), to wear on my shoulders as the temperature got a little cooler. I accessorized with my Nude Bootie, (also love these here and here), and my Chanel Bag (also, here).
