This past weekend, my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary, and the celebration of course called for a night out. Although, this is the time of year I start to inject more color into my wardrobe, for this date night outfit, I kept it simple and classic with a black and white ensemble. Black and white style pairings are of course ideal year round, and they are always appropriate regardless of the event or occasion.
For this evening, I paired my white Style Mafia Cecile Blouse, with my Loft Bi Stretch Kick Crop Pants. I accessorized with my black Steve Madden Stecy Sandal, and my Kate Spade Saturday Envelope Clutch. When wearing classic black and white for an evening out, I personally like to have some small special element or detail to one piece in the ensemble, like the dramatic sleeves and hemline on this top, or a ruffled or embellished top. You can even add a ruffled hem pant, or a pant with frayed hem details. Black and white during the summer can be a really nice pairing, and it can be styled in so many ways.
