    Shoes:  Ankle Strap Sandal

    Bag:  Quilted Crossbody Bag

One of the things I love on clothing is details.  From edgy grommets and studs to feminine lace and ruffles, these pretty little details on clothing seem to always catch my eye.  In today’s post, I’m sharing one of my favorite details, embroidery.  To me, embroidery adds a bit of an interesting style element to any piece of clothing.  Gone are the days of old when embroidery was simply used to repair or reinforce clothing, today, this somewhat elaborate embellishment is now adorning everything from tops and dresses to leather jackets and handbags.

For this look, I paired my Embroidered Puff Sleeve Top with my Tailored Cigarette Trousers.  I added my black Ankle Strap Sandal and my Quilted Crossbody Bag as accessories.  I am a big fan of buying classic, functional pieces, so one of the things I love about this embroidered top, is that it can be paired with a black skirt for a more dressed look, or it can be worn with jeans for a casual outfit.  Since embroidered clothing seems to be on trend right now, in today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing a few ways to incorporate embroidered pieces into your wardrobe.

Style Guide:  How To Incorporate Embroidered Pieces Into Your Wardrobe

Start With An Accessory – If you are just warming up to embroidered styles, start slow with an embroidered scarf, like this one here and here or bag like this one here or here.

Try Embroidery With A Lightweight Jacket – Enhance the style of your outerwear with and embroidered jacket like this one here.

Go All Out With An Embroidered Dress –  Add a chic embroidered dress to your closet like this one here.

Cap Off A Look With An Embroidered Shoe – An embroidered shoe like this one here and here will surely give your casual or dressed look some added appeal.

I hope today’s “Style Guide” has given you a few ideas for incorporating embroidered pieces into your wardrobe  You can shop the items in this post, by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details,” by clicking the photos below in “Shop This Post”, or you can visit the Shop Fashion Page here.  Also, you can shop Lulu With Grace partner sales and promotions here.
