Since starting my blog, almost two years ago, I’ve started to notice my style somewhat evolving.  I think my style evolution, is in part due to my ever growing love for fashion and appreciation of style in general, and my desire to make my blog more reflective of my personal lifestyle.  We’ve all had those moments when we looked in our closets and didn’t like anything we saw, and pulling an outfit together that represented who we are and how we wanted to look was a tremendous challenge, well that could very well be the first sign that a style change is on the horizon.

Today’s look is a perfect example of my evolving style.  Some time ago, I would have generally reserved my light wash girlfriend jeans for very casual outfits, pairing them with a tee shirt and flats or sneakers for errand day, but now I love mixing these jeans with tops like this faux fur hem top to give the jeans a slightly elevated look.  To complete the outfit, I added my black collarless coat, my leopard pumps, and my quilted bag.  I’m finding my evolving style to be much more effortless and versatile.  It’s become easier for me to style timeless pieces in my closet in a variety of ways to achieve a look that I believe best represents my day to day lifestyle.  If you’re finding that your style or sense of fashion is evolving, in today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing a few ways you can embrace the change without feeling like you have to completely overhaul your wardrobe.

Style Guide:  How To Embrace A Change In Style Without Overhauling Your Wardrobe

Create A Fashion Vision Board – Look through magazines and cut out looks that you feel best display your style.

Do A Closet Inventory – Pull together pieces in your closet that fit your evolved style, and try to build some of your vision board looks from what you already have.

Pair Unexpected Pieces – Experimenting with fashion can be fun, especially when you’re ready for a change, so for a fresh take on pieces your already own, try mixing it up a little.

Accessorize – Accessories are a quick and easy way to change the style or look of an outfit.  From hats, bags, shoes to scarves, these items can definitely give your outfit a different look and feel.

If you feel like your style is evolving, I hope this “Style Guide” has given you a few ideas on how to embrace the change without doing a complete wardrobe overhaul.  You can shop the items in this post by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details”, or you can visit the Shop Fashion Page here.  Also, you can shop Lulu With Grace partner sales and promotions here.

    Thanks so much for reading!
