The holiday season is truly my most favorite time of year.  From spending time with family and friends to holiday decor and festive holiday attire, to me, there are so many things to love about the season.  When it comes to holiday style, every year, there seems to be a few things that become festive fashion staples, and this year, one of those holiday style staples appears to be velvet.  With it’s lush, rich texture, and it’s climate friendly fabric, velvet pieces are definitely perfect items for holiday attire and beyond.

For this look, I paired my Halogen Velvet Blazer with my Topshop Metallic Ruffle Long Sleeve Top, and my Topshop Wide Leg Velvet Pants.  I added my Sam Edelman Ciara Pump, and my black Satin Clutch.  I love this velvet blazer because the burgundy color is one of my favorite colors, and I can wear the blazer with a dress, skirt and blouse, pants and even jeans.  The blazer also comes in black, which is a perfect classic piece to have in your wardrobe.  To me, the elevated sheen on both the velvet blazer and velvet pants makes them perfect for holiday parties.  So, if you’re looking for versatile stylish pieces this holiday season, that can be worn in a variety of ways for various occasions, these two velvet pieces are ideal for adding a little seasonal flair to your holiday looks.
