Over the past few weeks, I’ve been spending some time doing a little soul searching, figuring out the things that truly inspire me in life, and revisiting the things that really get me moving.  Since childhood, I’ve always been a doer and a mover, in fact when I was a little girl, my grandfather gave me a button to wear that said “I can’t wait,”  mainly because I was always on the move, ready to make things happen.

Some of the things that inspire me are staying physically active, taking care of myself, mind and body, inspiring others, and surrounding myself with people and things that are an inspiration to me.   I’ve always enjoyed working out, and being fit inspires me because I feel like I’m doing something good for my body that is necessary to keep me going throughout my busy lifestyle.  I enjoy meditating, getting regular facials, and massages or long baths when I can because for me, these things relax both the mind and body.  I’m inspired by taking care of myself, because to me being mentally and physically well allows you to feel like you can do and accomplish anything in life.  My blog is one of the ways I seek to inspire others.  I feel that being authentic in my style and lifestyle, and sharing tips and how to’s when appropriate are ways that I can help and inspire others.  Lastly, I always look to surround myself with people and things that inspire me, because to me your environment can definitely breed inspiration.  Simple things like fresh flowers, and positive people with a positive mindset, can always be a good influence.  If you’re looking for ways to get inspired, here are a few tips that might be helpful.

Keep A Journal – Keeping a journal of ideas that pop into your head, or things that you see or hear that inspire you, allows you to have something to refer back to when you are looking to be inspired.

Refresh Your Surroundings – Adding fresh flowers, bright colors, or things that represent positive vibes, can always set the tone for being inspired.

Pick A Muse – Find something or someone that inspires you, and use it or them as your inspiration.

Focus On Things That Make You Happy – If you focus on the things that make you happy, you are forced to stay positive.  Being positive and grateful is the foundation for finding inspiration.

I hope through today’s post I’ve been able to share a few things that inspire me, and I hope these tips have given you a few ideas of things you can do to get or stay inspired.   You can shop the items in this post by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details”, or you can visit the Shop Fashion Page here.  Also, you can shop Lulu With Grace partner sales and promotions here.

    Thanks so much  for reading!
