It’s A Wrap…Skirt

Spring is a great time to mix different fabrics in one look, and to add flowy and lightweight pieces to your wardrobe.  In today’s post, I’m doing both, by combining this lightweight sweater, and this flowy wrap skirt.  A very popular skirt style for spring 2016 is the wrap skirt.  The cool asymmetric hem, and the wrap style silhouette creates a look that is wearable for any body type and any occasion.

For this outfit, I paired my lightweight Forever 21 Dropped-Sleeve Textured Sweater, with my Vince Camuto Belted Wrap Skirt.  I added one of my favorite classic spring shoe styles, the Bella Vita Savona Open Toe Mule, and my Michael Kors Extra Small Ava bag.  The wrap skirt can be found in many fabrics and styles.  From more structured pencil skirt designs to designs with movement and scalloped edges this skirt is one that can definitely go from desk to dinner and beyond.  The longer somewhat midi length of this wrap skirt keeps the look classic, and gives an in-style option for those of us who are not into wearing the mini skirt wrap style.  This skirt can be worn with everything from lightweight sweaters, a pretty blouse, or a blazer, so your styling options with a wrap skirt are unlimited.
