    Top:  Ruffle One Shoulder Top

Bottom:  Dark Wash Mom Jeans; Also, love these here and here

Shoes:  Lace Up Open Toe Bootie (Old); Similar here and here

    Bag:  Dionysus GG Mini Supreme

So, now that spring has arrived, there are a few things I’m stocking my wardrobe with this season.  I shared my love for stripes this spring in my post Monday here, and today, I’m sharing another one of my spring obsessions, one shoulder styles.  I love this oh, so chic iteration of the very popular off the shoulder trend because it’s a streamlined, eye-catching look that can be either casual, cocktail, or work appropriate because of the additional coverage.

For this look, I paired my Ruffle One Shoulder top, with my Dark Wash Mom Jeans.  I added my Lace Up Open Toe Bootie, and my Dionysus GG Mini Supreme bag.  There are so many things I love about spring.  I love that in Texas, we can begin to shed a few layers, and begin to style some spring looks that will also work for summer.  The one shoulder style is definitely a look that is perfect for spring and summer, so when you invest in this style for spring, you can plan on wearing it right into summer, and get the most out of your investment.  In today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing a few things I love about the pieces in this look.

Style Guide:  Things I Love About These Pieces

Top:  The one shoulder style is perfect for times when you are not in a bare all shoulder mood, or just when you want to stand out with something a little different.  I love that this top has long sleeves for cooler spring days, and I love the ruffle detail and stripes.

Jeans:  I love the mom jean/high waist style jean.  Not only are they super stylish, but to me, they help to elongate the body, and give your bottom half a sleek look.  The dark wash on these jeans are perfect for dressing up or down.

Shoes:  Lace up open toe booties are the perfect transition shoe.  They make going from your full on bootie to a lighter version for spring easy, and they give any dress, skirt, or cropped pant look added style and flare.

Bag:  This bag has definitely become one of my go to bags.  A good designer bag can easily take a look from ordinary to extraordinary, and to me this bag always enhances my outfit.  It’s the perfect bag for a dressed or casual look, and the fact that it can also be worn crossbody is a bonus.

I hope today’s “Style Guide” has given you a little more insight into the pieces featured in this post, and has also given you some ideas for other ways you can style them.  You can shop the items in this post by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details”, or you can visit the Shop Fashion Page here.  Also, you can shop Lulu With Grace partner sales and promotions here.
