As most of you already know, I just recently returned from a nine day trip to Italy. My husband and I called the trip our “Tour of Italy,” because we visited Rome, Florence, Tuscany, and Venice. The first stop on our trip was Italy’s capital, Rome, where we stayed at the Westin Excelsior Rome hotel for two days.  Rome is a very cosmopolitan city, with architecture and culture on full display, and when touring some of the world renowned attractions of the Eternal City, you can’t help but feel like you have been transported to ancient roman days.

On our first day in Rome, we visited the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, and we spent time just walking the city, and immersing ourselves in the culture.  We had an amazing room service dinner at our hotel and called it an early night to rest up for our second day in this amazing city.  On our second day, we toured the Vatican City Museums, and visited the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and had dinner in Rome’s favorite neighborhood of Trastevere.  For this second day out and about in Rome, I wore my Style Mafia Dania top with my Loft Khaki Kicked Crop pants.  I added my Vince Camuto Kade Flats and my Gucci mini Dionysus GG Supreme bag (worn crossbody) as accessories.  We had a wonderful two days in Rome, and next we were off to Florence.
