Following the Spring 2015 Fashion Week last month, there are so many new fashion trends circulating for spring, I thought it would be a good idea to highlight a few, and share some trend pieces, all under $150 from Nordstrom, that will be good to incorporate into your spring wardrobe, if you don’t already own them. Here are a few spring trend pieces and ways you can style them to elevate your spring wardrobe.
1. Shirt Dress – For a business casual look, add a structured jacket/blazer, and a simple heel. For a more casual everyday look, pop the collar, add some layered jewelry and a strappy sandal. (Click Image For More Details)
2. Yellow – This versatile color comes in a variety of shades and hues, and it is definitely a color that will be seen everywhere this spring. Pair it with grays, blues, tans and white for a very classic look. If you feel like you can’t quite pull off the different shades of yellow, or are not sure how you will like the hue against your skin tone, you can quickly add the color to your outfit in a handbag, shoe or jewelry. 3. Gingham – This check print can be fun and easy to style. As a follow up to my last post, you can try mixing gingham prints and colors or pair it with a bright solid color to instantly enhance your style. If you are still warming up to the gingham trend, start small, by simply adding gingham accessories (shoes, belt, handbag, etc.). (Click Image For More Details)
4. Culottes – The oh so cool culotte can be styled in a variety of ways. For a clean daytime look, pair them with a boyfriend shirt and a classic trench. For an evening look, pair a dressier style culotte with a fitted strapless top, and a beaded heel. For a simple casual look, add a crop top and a strappy heeled sandal. (Click Image For More Details)
5. Military – The military green color trend and style does not appear to be going away for spring. When styling this look, start by purchasing classic pieces that can be worn year round. Keep the military inspiration limited to one piece and pair it with complimentary colors like olive green, khaki/tans, and white. You can also make they look even more stylish by mixing textures and fabrics for more depth and style. (Click Image For More Details)
