Now that spring has officially arrived, many of us will be looking to lighten and brighten our looks, and one way it can be done is by adding a few pastel colors to your wardrobe.  For those who like the look of pastel colors, this will be an easy wardrobe update, however, for those who are just not quite sure if these soft hues fit their style, this may be more of a challenge.  Well, there are definitely ways you can add pastels to an outfit, and still keep it trendy and cool, and today I’m sharing a few ways you can do it.

    Easy Ways To Wear Pastels:

    1.  Pair Pastels With Neutrals – Let your pastel pop by pairing it with neutral shades.  This can give the look a chic simple feel.

    2.  Combine Pastels With Bright Colors And Bold Patterns – If you want to spice up a pastel, pair it with bright colors or bold patterns to give the outfit a little edge.

    3. Mix It Up – Mix several complimentary pastel colors in one outfit for a soft but fearless look.

    4. Wear All One Color – Keep one pastel color throughout an outfit for a classic and sophisticated look.

As you can see, I am really enjoying not only wearing pastel colors, but lighter fabrics too.  In this outfit, a stuck with a pastel palette throughout, and added a slight bit of edge with the laser cut shootie.  I truly love any shade of pink, so this spring coat, and BR top will definitely be staples in my wardrobe for a while.  This longer version of a crop top is a classic piece to add to your wardrobe.  It can be worn many ways, and I’m looking forward to pairing it with a pair of jeans for a more casual look.  Now, the midi skirt style trend has definitely been one of my favorites.  A midi skirt quickly ups the style of any outfit, and owning a neutral midi skirt offers endless styling possibilities.  Now, lastly the shoes.  This laser cut version of a caged sandal is so perfect for wearing with a skirt, cropped pant or skinny jean.  The openness and airiness of the shoe is perfect for wearing this time of year, and throughout summer.

Well if you have already been wearing your pastels, or if you’re inspired to starting adding more pastels to your wardrobe,  I hope these tips have been helpful.

Doing my daily check of your blog, and saw this post. Really like this look!! It is soft and springy :-). The information on wearing pastels was very helpful to me because I’m one who doesn’t think the lighter colors look good on my skin. I think I’ll start out small, and try this top. I’ve been looking for a crop top that doesn’t show the stomach, and this one is perfect! Thanks for all of your great looks and awesome information!!
