One of the things I love to do on Sunday is brunch. Whether brunching at home or out, it’s such a great way to cap off the weekend, and spend time with family and friends. I recently wore this off-white trench with eyelet sleeves to brunch, and thought I would share why this trench is one of my favorites. This time of year it’s almost absolutely necessary to have a lightweight trench that can be worn for the up and down temps of the winter to spring transition, and I could not pass up this trench because eyelet is one of my favorite design details, that can be soft or even edgy depending on the item it’s a part of.
For this brunch look, I wore this Lavand Belted Lightweight Trench Coat from ASOS, with my Zara Sleeveless Tee, and my Zara High Waist Skinny Jeans. I added my black Ann Taylor Tara Fringe Sandals, and grabbed my black Express fringe bag. I really like pairing black and white, because it’s always such a classic look, that can be worn any time for any occasion. This trench coat is one of my favorites because I feel like the styling options are unlimited. I can wear it with everything from a nice pair of pants or a dress for a more dressed look, or with jeans or over a romper for a somewhat casual look. The off white color is perfect to wear any time of year, and the eyelet sleeves gives this basic trench style a very nice upgrade.
