Winter Essentials: A Chic Cover-Up & Why It’s A Must Have

During last week’s “Wrap Week”, I shared quite a few of my fall/winter wraps, and gave a few tips on styling them.  As you can probably imagine by now, my closet is full of scarves, wraps, and cover-ups, and to be honest with you, I just can’t get enough of them.  Because they can be worn in so many ways, and they come in a variety of colors, designs, and styles, they are definitely a winter essential for me.  In today’s post, I’m wearing this reversible blanket cover up that is a great piece to compliment any fall/winter outfit.

This Express Southwestern Fringe Blanket Cover-Up caught my eye because of it’s very versatile black and white color palette, and the fringe detail that’s so popular right now.  The cover-up is extremely soft and warm, and I could easily visualize wearing it with things I already had in my closet.  A bonus of this blanket cover-up is that it’s reversible.  For this look, I paired the blanket cover-up with my Express Tie Neck Halter Blouse, and my black Cigarette Pants.  I finished the look with my Sam Edelman ‘Ciara’ Round Toe Pumps, and my Ann Taylor Mini Suede Bucket Bag.  Because blanket cover ups are truly all the rage this fall and winter, and because they seem to be dominating the fall and winter fashion scene, In today’s “Style Guide”, I thought I would share a few reason’s why I feel this piece is a must have.
