One of the many things I am enjoying most about blogging, are the many notes, messages, and comments my readers have shared thanking me for the inspiration my blog has given them. When I launched my blog just a few months ago, my goal was to not only inspire my readers to look and feel their best, but to also, make sure my blog shared items that would be accessible to anyone regardless of their budget, thus “The Look,” and “The Look For Less” options became a major part of Lulu With Grace. Now, in my mind, a budget is not necessarily a reflection of what you can afford, but rather a reflection of how much you personally want to pay for something. We all have our passions, and things that we are willing to purchase at a certain price, and sometimes, if we can find the same or similar item at a better price, that simply makes shopping more enjoyable. Today, I’m sharing a quick round up of a few looks and looks for less from my previous blog posts to demonstrate how you can easily find similar items at a lesser price, along with a few tips for wisely shopping on a budget.
Tips For Wisely Shopping On A Budget:
Sign Up For Merchant Newsletters – Merchant newsletters provide notifications of current sales and promotions, and often give you a preview to sale items.
Shop Online – Online shopping usually comes with several extra discounts and online only promotions with a promo code not available in stores. If you are unsure of your size, simply check the stores return policy to make sure you can return the item if the size is not right. This will allow you to take advantage of the sale with the security of being able to return it if the items do not work out.
Check Clearance or Sales Sections – Whether shopping online or in store, always check the clearance racks and sales sections. Items can be marked down as much as 75% off.
Google Search Your Favorite Item – If you find something you like, and you want to see if you can find the item or a similar item for a less expensive price, just do a Google search of the item or item description to see what comes up. Often times many items will appear, giving you a chance to view several options before purchasing.
Visit Fashion and Shopping Blogs That Offer Budget Shopping Options – Some fashion and shopping blogs offer budget shopping options, or feature brands and items that easily fit any budget. The blog will actually allow you to see the item on someone, get their opinion and personal review of the item, and shop for the item all in one visit for a one stop shopping experience.
