There are certain fabrics that truly look and feel like fall, and one of those fabrics is corduroy. You can find a variety of corduroy pieces, from blazers and jackets, to coats and skirts, and today, I’m featuring one of my favorite corduroy pieces, the corduroy pant. I love corduroy pieces because they have a retro chic look and feel that can be styled in a variety of classic ways.
In today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing some corduroy pieces, and a few ways to style them.
Style Guide: A Few Corduroy Styling Tips
Corduroy Pants – Style corduroy pants with a belted chunky sweater and a long-line coat, like I have styled them in this post.
Corduroy Blazer – Style a corduroy blazer like this one here and here with a blouse and midi skirt, or with a flare jean.
Corduroy Skirt – Style a corduroy skirt like this one here and here with a tweed or wool blazer and a turtleneck.
Corduroy Coat – Style a corduroy coat like this one here and here with a monochromatic look like a black turtleneck and black trousers, or a grey sweater and grey pants or jeans.
If you’re a fan of corduroy for fall like I am, I hope you found these corduroy styling tips helpful. For today’s look, I paired my Plaid Coat (Old), similar here, here, and here, my Grey Sweater (Sold Out), similar here and here, with my Corduroy Flare Pants (Blue).
