During our trip to San Francisco we decided to use a couple of days for guided tours, and a few days for simply touring the city on our own.  This day, was a self touring day, and we started the day by simply exploring our hotel, The Ritz Carlton San Francisco in the beautiful Nob Hill area, before heading out to check out the city’s well-known Mission District.  While walking through our hotel, we stumbled upon this lovely courtyard inside the hotel.  Everything was so green and lush, and the grounds were perfectly manicured, so of course we had to take a few photos.  The area was being staged for what looked like a wedding, and in my opinion, it was such a beautiful place for a wedding and/or reception.

After having a quick breakfast, we were off to check out the much talked about Mission District, and I personally was so excited to see the street murals I had read so much about.  The Mission District is San Francisco’s oldest neighborhood, and boasts some of the areas hottest new restaurants and galleries.  The area is filled with so much culture, and offers some of the best weather in the city.  In addition to being known as home to Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, the area is also well known for having the largest concentration of murals in the city, adorning buildings, fences and walls throughout the district.  There were so many murals to photograph, and I’m including just a sampling of some of the murals in this post.

Today, I decided to go really casual and comfortable with this airy Forever 21 Boxy Mixed Stripe Blouse paired with these super comfortable Banana Republic Chambray Tie-Front Wide-Leg Pants.  I added these J. Crew Factory Striped Peep-Toe D’Orsay Flats, and my forever functional Forever 21 tote, with this Banana Republic Dixie Scarf for the changing temperatures throughout the day, and we were off in search of the Mission District and murals.  This outfit was great for a day of riding in the car and touring.
