Denim has really started to take on a different look.  We’ve seen distressed and ripped denim styles for some time now, but the new denim details now include frayed, raw, and fringed hems and edges.  White denim has truly become a year round staple, and it seems especially fresh during spring and summer, but adding the more current detailed white denim pieces with frayed or fringed hems to your wardrobe, will certainly give your wardrobe a little denim upgrade.

For this errand day look, I paired my H&M Striped Off The Shoulder Blouse with my H&M Distressed Frayed Hem Jeans.  I added my Vince Camuto Jevan Mule, and my Banana Republic Leather Bucket Bag.  To me, wearing distressed or frayed denim successfully is all about the styling.  Adding simple solid or classic striped pieces on top will help to keep the look chic and not overdone.  I also think it’s great to accessorize with classic pieces like a bucket bag or mules to keep the look clean.
