As my blog starts to grow, and my days get busier and busier, with meetings, events, photo shoots, and a lot of time on my computer creating content, I’m finding having a daily routine that gets my day started on the right foot, also helps to make sure the day ends on a good note.  I’ve always been a creature of habit, but lately, I’ve become even more aware of how important it is to have a mindful morning routine to not only have great mornings, but also great days.

For me, as a Blogger/Influencer, some days are busier than others, but regardless of my level of busyness, I always try to stick to my same morning routine.  Of course, there are some days, that I may have to alter the order of my routine, but there are five things that are always a part of my morning, and I try to stick to them as much as possible.  So, in today’s “Lifestyle Guide,” I’m sharing the five things I do for an easy breezy day.

Lifestyle Guide:  5 Things I Do For An Easy Breezy Day

Start Each Day With An Affirmation – Finding, writing down, and stating a daily affirmation is a great way to start the day.  For me, it allows me to set a positive intention for the day, and keeps me focused on a positive mindset all day long.  If you’re not aware, I share my daily affirmations on my Instastories on Instagram.  For those of you who have sent me messages thanking me for the daily affirmations, you are truly welcome, and for those of you who do not follow Lulu With Grace on Instagram, you can follow and view the daily affirmations, by clicking the link here.

Practice A Five Minute Meditation – Taking time to relax your brain and take deep breaths is the perfect way to clear your mind for the day ahead.  For me personally, it allows me to start my day calm and prepared for anything that may occur throughout the day.  I use the 5 minute meditation app on my iPhone.  If you have an iPhone, you can check it out here.  If you don’t have an iPhone, here is another option from YouTube here.

Create A To-Do List – Once I’ve set my positive intentions for the day, and relaxed my mind, I sit down and prepare my daily to-do list.  This is like my road map for the day, and it not only keeps me focused on what I need to accomplish, but it also gives me a sense of fulfillment as I check each item off my list throughout the day.

Allow More Time For Daily Tasks – Once my to-do list is created, I try to allot time for each task, so that I stay on track, and I have an idea of how my day will flow.  Building in a little more time than is actually needed for each task is a good thing to do, because it allows you to not feel pressured or rushed as you move throughout your day.  Honestly, this is one that I am constantly working on, but I can definitely say I’m getting better at it.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and I hope my daily morning routine has given you a few things to try out to lay the foundation for an easy breezy day.  For this morning meeting look, I paired my Eyelet Top, with my Eyelet Ruffled Skirt.  I accessorized with my black Ankle Strap Sandals, and my black Envelope Clutch (old, similar here).  You can shop the specific items I’m wearing as well as similar items I love, by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details,” by clicking the photos below in “Shop This Post,” and by visiting the “Shop Fashion” page here.

As always, thanks so much for reading!
