If you’re not that into bright summer colors and fun florals for the season, have no fear…there is definitely another way that you can have stand out summer style, and still make a statement with summer neutrals.  From tans to blush tones, and blacks to whites, you can easily style neutral looks that are sure to be cool and stylish for summer.

When it comes to my personal style, I will sometimes get into the spirit of the summer season, and wear a bright color or a floral print piece, but for the most part I usually stick with neutral colors, and simple patterns.  If you’re like me, and you like to mix it up from time to time, or if you mainly prefer neutral tones, there are a few ways you can style neutral looks that will definitely be eye catching.  So, in today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing three quick ways to wear your  summer neutrals.

Style Guide:  3 Quick Ways To Wear Summer Neutrals

Go All White – Style a head to toe white look, like white jeans or pants, a white tee, and if needed a white denim jacket.  To add some texture and more depth to the look, accessorize with a stand out bag and printed sandals.

Go Matchy And Monotone – Pick a soft neutral color like blush, and pair a blush top, with a blush pant or skirt.  Finish off the look with a soft cream shoe and bag for a marvelous monotone outfit.

Mix Various Shades Of One Color – Take a color like beige that comes in a variety of shades from dark to very light, and style a look mixing the shades.  Pair a cream top with a taupe or khaki bottom of your choice.  Add a tan shoe and bag in the same shade or different tones, and you have one perfectly pulled together summer look.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and I hope you picked up a few ideas for styling your summer neutrals.  For this look, I paired my Striped Poplin Top with my cream Wide Leg Pants.  I accessorized with my tan Espadrille Wedges (old), similar here; also love these here, and my black Macrame Bag (Sold Out); similar here, also love this one here.  You can shop the specific items I’m wearing or similar items that I love, by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details,” by clicking the photos below in “Shop This Post,” and by visiting the “Shop Fashion” page here.
