2853-2-1-of-1If there’s one closet staple I feel everyone should have in their closet, it’s definitely a black blazer.  From dressed to casual, and anything in between, a black blazer can certainly be the ultimate outfit maker.  So, as I’m really getting into organizing and planning my closet for fall, I knew adding this black tailored blazer to my fall wardrobe line up was a must.  This blazer is the perfect utility piece, because it can be styled with a variety of other pieces that you already own or add to your wardrobe in the future.

2858-2-1-of-12854-3-1-of-12856-2-1-of-1For this look, I paired my Loft Double Breasted Blazer with my White Tie Neck Wide Cuff Blouse, and my Express High Rise Released Hem Straight Crop Rigid Jeans.  I accessorized with my Sam Edelman Ciara Dress Pump and my Rebecca Minkoff Quilted Mini Affair bag.  I really love pairing blazers with jeans for almost anywhere, because they can make a jean outfit look chic and pulled together.  When it comes to styling a closet staple like a black blazer, the possibilities are truly endless, and in today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing a few quick ideas for styling this closet staple.

Style Guide:  Styling A Closet Staple – A Black Tailored Blazer

Style The Black Blazer With A Tee Or A Tank – Styling a black blazer with another closet staple like a black, white, gray, or striped tee or tank will definitely keep this staple classic and stylish.

Style The Black Blazer With A Dress – Pairing a black blazer with a dress is a great way to elevate any dress look to perfectly polished.

Style A Black Blazer With A Wide Leg Pant – Wearing a black blazer with a wide leg pant can create a look that will easily take you from desk to dinner.

Style A Black Blazer With Jeans – Pairing a black blazer with jeans can add both style and sophistication to any jean look you wear.

I hope you picked up a few ideas for styling your black blazer.  You can shop the items in this post by clicking the links above in “Outfit Details”, or you can visit the Shop Fashion Page here.  Also, you can shop Lulu With Grace partner sales and promotions here.  New partner sales and promotions have recently been added.
