When it comes to my style, lately I seem to be gravitating to a more effortless minimal style. To me effortless minimal style is classic, chic, and appropriate for all ages. It doesn’t require a lot work in styling, but it incorporates pieces that are not only stylish, and even on trend, but that also make a style statement. For me, nothing says more effortless minimal style, than a black and white outfit. It’s always current and classic, and it’s a perfect color combo for any look.
For this meeting outfit, I paired my white Monki Pleated D-Ring Shirt, with my Loft Tea Garden Culottes. I accessorized with my Sam Edelman Ciara Pumps, and my Steve Madden Crossbody Bag. In wearing black and white in a somewhat minimal style, I wanted to make sure there was an element of texture with the pleated bottom on the shirt that continues from the front to the back. This simple detail gives what could be a basic white shirt some standout power. Also, instead of pairing the shirt with black pants, I went with the very on trend culottes, that not only elevated the style of the look, but also added some movement to the outfit. An ankle strap shoe or a lace up bootie or sandal is a perfect accessory for culottes, because the shoe details can easily be seen, and a crossbody bag is perfect for a meeting look, when you don’t need to carry a large bag. So I guess, the style tip in this post is that effortless minimal style does not have to be plain or boring, as there are many ways to create a classic minimal look that is still stylish.
