As I mentioned in my post on Monday, this week on the blog, I’m featuring blush colored items, and today I am sharing one of my closet favorites from a previous post. This blush colored jumpsuit was truly a great investment, and it is now on sale.
I have worn this jumpsuit a couple of times, and I have enjoyed being able to style it differently, based on the event/occasion. It can be worn with heels or flats, and paired with a nice topper or a short cardigan or wrap if needed. Jumpsuits are so current and stylish, and can be worn and styled in a variety of ways. If you are feeling a little unsure about styling your jumpsuit, in today’s “Style Guide,” I’m sharing a few tips for styling a jumpsuit.
Style Guide: Tips For Styling A Jumpsuit
Start With The Perfect Style – Because a jumpsuit is one piece, to me the perfect style is one that is belted, or cinched in the waist with some form of banding or elastic. This helps to break up the all over look, and allows the jumpsuit to look more pulled together.
Pair It With A Jacket Or Sweater – If the bare up top strapless jumpsuit feels a little unfinished for you, add a lightweight topper, boyfriend jacket or cropped cardigan sweater. This will not only add some coverage for the upper body, but can also give the jumpsuit a chic look and feel.
Choose Solid Or Print – Deciding on a solid or print jumpsuit, is truly a personal preference, and often based on what you feel most comfortable in, and the occasion or event. If you are looking for a more classic style, go for solid colors with a stylish shoe. If you are looking for a more carefree style for a casual look, prints can always work.
Accessorize With The Right Shoe – As with almost any outfit, shoes complete the look of the jumpsuit. Heels, wedges, or any stylish shoe with a feminine feel will work great with a jumpsuit. They elongate the look, and help to keep the look properly proportioned.
If you have any personal tips to share on how you style your jumpsuit, please feel free to share them in the comments section below. I would love to hear from you.
