When I’m in New York, regardless of the time of year, after checking out new shows, and trying new restaurants, one of my most favorite things to do is to just get out and walk the city.  It’s so vibrant and full of life, and I just love to take in the culture, the lifestyle, and of course the fashion.

This trip, my husband, Torrence and I tried a few new restaurants that were recommended to us…. Lombardi’s Pizza (amazing), Burger and Barrel (delicious burgers), and El Toro Blanco (really good Mexican cuisine).  We also went to a comedy club (Stand Up New York), which we had never done before in New York, and that was a lot of fun.  I’m sure you New Yorkers out there, and you serial New York visitors like me, have many more IMG_1930recommendations for restaurants and fun things to do, so please feel free to share your favorite New York spots.

For an on the go day, I enjoy wearing neutral colors because they are so effortless, and can easily be put together for a quick and easy, grab and go outfit.  I love neutrals because they are clean, classic, and easy to pull together.  Here’s my version of “Neutrals in New York with a Touch of Texture,” (faux fur neck wrap and skin print shoes) in one easy outfit.

    Thanks for reading!

Someone just told me about your blog… I really like the site, and love your outfits in both posts. I love the off-white coat. I wish it was still available. I will check out the other options you recommended for the coat. Thanks for giving options!
