Classic stripes are one of those patterns that will always be popular. They can basically serve as a neutral in any outfit, and they give any look an easy, laid back feel. Striped pieces are seasonless, very versatile, and they have truly become one of my go to patterns when outfit planning. I love wearing stripes because they pair well with everything, and they can be worn so many ways.
For this “Stripes On Stripes” look, I paired my Express Striped Fit And Flare Trench Coat with my GAP Modern Stripe Boatneck Tee, and my Loft Bi-Stretch Riviera Cropped Pants. I wore my Forever 21 Espadrille Wedge, grabbed my Zac Posen East/West Satchel, and added my Lulla Collection Silk Bandana. Stripes on stripes are one of my favorite pattern combinations because this combo can make any outfit stand out. You can do stripes on stripes as a jacket and dress or pants and top with reverse stripe pattern (horizontal and vertical), and you can do stripes on stripes in the same direction with any outfit pairing.
